Impact Statements The words of the Participants themselves and their carers should be an essential part of any application. Painting the picture for the planners is essential and who better to do that then those that live it every day. It can be challenging for them to do these or even know where to start, let alone put into words how their impairment or carer responsibilities affect them. This module will give you some suggestions on how they can be set out and how to explain the benefits and encouraging them to complete their statement in a sensitive manner. This module works through the importance of participant and carer statements, the in's and outs, key wording, demos on possible structures and how they impact on funding outcomes. An essential for anyone working in the disability sector, informal carers and participants. There is a quiz at the end of the module to confirm you have completed it and understood the concepts with an 80% pass mark. If you are a member of the Australian Counselling Association this course attracts 3 OPD. You get a copy of the presentation, sample layout of a quality impact statement, client risk checklist and a worksheet used to record risks in order to increase funding. This module is suitable for all levelled training streams with the hours being credited to your next level.
